Brigham City provides water, sewer, electricity, and garbage pickup to our residents. We do not provide cable, gas, internet, or telephone.
Brigham City requires a signature on all requests for new service or to terminate service. Make your request in person at City Hall, 20 N. Main Street. You will be asked for identification, your social security number, and your telephone number. We will also need to see your rental agreement.
A security deposit may be required on both residential and commercial accounts. The deposit will be refunded to your account if you pay your bill on time for 12 consecutive months, or it will be applied to your final bill when you move. If you move from one rental property to another, the deposit will remain with your account. In some cases, deposits can be waived with a letter of good credit from a previous utility company. This letter can be faxed to us at (435) 723-8132.
If you are not in Brigham City, you can fill out the application here and we will contact you to complete the process and arrange for the security deposit.
You must sign a work order to terminate or transfer service. This requires coming to the City Offices. If you do not terminate your account when you move, you will be held accountable for that bill.
If you are not in Brigham City, you can fill out the termination form here.
