Public Hearing to be Held on the Mayor's Proposed 2018-19 Budget

BUDGET PUBLIC HEARING
 Tentative 2018-19 Budget

 

A public hearing will be held on June 7, 2018 on Brigham City Corporation’s 2018-19 tentative budget. The public hearing will be held at 7:00 PM, or as soon thereafter as possible, in the City Council Chambers at 20 North Main. The budget includes a 2.1% increase for elected officials.

Brigham City’s 2018-19 tentative budget includes a transfer of 15% of utility fee revenue plus amounts charged for City utility usage, or $3,871,241 from the Public Utility Fund to the General Fund, as well as $32,756 from the Storm Drain Fund to the General Fund. It also includes an additional $50,000 transfer from the Utility Fund to the Emergency Disaster-Capital Project Fund.

A public hearing for the Brigham City Redevelopment Agency 2018-19 budget will be held immediately following the Brigham City Council Meeting on June 7, 2018, also in the City Council Chambers.

A public hearing for the Brigham City Municipal Building Authority 2018-19 budget will be held immediately following the Brigham City Redevelopment Agency Meeting on June 7, 2018 in the City Council Chambers.
