| Details: | Join the Library’s monthly reading and discussion series addressing topics in history and the humanities. Discussions are led by guest scholars. Books may be picked up from the Library's front desk during regular business hours. This program has received funding from Utah Humanities (UH). UH improves communities through active engagement in the humanities.  The Virginian: A Horseman of the Plains by Owen Wister Scholar: Kathryn MacKay, PhD, WSU. The foreman of a large cattle ranch on the Wyoming frontier lives by the honor code of the West even though it means helping lynch a friend or possibly losing the girl he is to marry. |
