USU Sagebrush Team Tournament 

We are introducing a new format for the Team Tourrnament this year!

For the 2023 season, teams will compete in three different divisions and more than one team can be registered for one school. Each team will consist of 4 players (2) Men’s Doubles and (2) Women’s Doubles. Teams will square off against each other in matches and potential tiebreakers. Age and grade are not a factor for building teams but participants should be in 7th- 12th grade.  Teams should evaluate their skill level and register for the division that best matches their skill with the advanced players in the Premier Division, intermediate in the Challenger Division, and beginner in the Apprentice Division.

School boundary requirements include home schooled youth.  (Participants must register with the school within your area of residence, does not include district voucher exceptions.) Teams may request approval for division change by email written submission to the Tournament Director Mandy McLean amclean@bcutah.org one week prior to tournament registration closure.

Description: Please join us at the Palooza Party that kicks off the Spectacular.  There will be games, entertainment, instructional clinic, dinner, and Aggie Ice Cream.

Refund Policy

• $5 non-refundable fee will be applied to all refunds
• While registration is open: Full refund (minus $5)
• After registration has ended: 50% refund
• After program has begun: no refund

Concussion and Head Injury

As required by Utah State Law, Brigham City has implemented a concussion and head injury policy:

1. An informed consent must be signed annually by parents and youth athletes acknowledging the risk of head injury prior to practice or competition.
2. A youth athlete who is suspected of sustaining a concussion must be removed from play.
3. A youth athlete who has been removed from play must receive written clearance from a licensed health care provider prior to returning to play.

The following information may be helpful to parents and coaches. Learn the signs and symptoms of concussion so we can all keep our children and adult athletes safe.
