In conjunction with the Cemetery, Heritage and Arts Board and Sights and Sounds through the Recreation Department a historic tour of the Brigham City Cemetery will again be offered on annually on the third Saturday in September from 10am to 2pm. Tours will commence every hour on the hour from the northwest gate area. The overall purpose of the tour is to highlight our historic cemetery, create awareness of historic treasures in our community and to foster respect for the cemetery overall. This tour has been popular with City residents as it focuses on the symbolism found on historic headstones within the cemetery.
Admission is free and everyone is welcome; however, it would assist the Recreation Department in receiving an RSVP prior to the tour so they will know how many people to expect. This is particularly important if you if plan on bringing a large group. Tours will continue through light rain but will be cancelled in the case of inclement weather. You may contact the Recreation Department at 435-734-6608 or by emailing email@example.com.
